After a delayed start due to rain, India batting first after losing the toss. In the first over itself captain Rohit Sharma hit Shaheen Afridi for a six. Though India lost both openers within powerplay, Rishabh Pant and Akshar Patel took on the Pakistani Bowlers and for the first time in the tournament crossed 40 runs mark in the power play.
The much hyped contest of tournament being played between the arch rivals India and Pakistan. India looking good and going to make a big total for Pakistan. Despite the rain there will be no reduction in total overs of the match.
Rishabh Pant batting at number three bagged as many as three lives when his catches are dropped by the Pakistani fielders, taking advantage of the same, he is trying to make runs more aggressively.
